Foil covering, air holes?
I'm currently housing my BP in a glass 20 gallon tank. I want to cover the screen on top with aluminum foil to prevent loss of heat and humidity. How many air holes should i punch in the foil to ensure adequate air circulation without letting too much humidity out?

i use a small towel, and get it really wet then ring it out so that its very moist but not dripping wet. Just put it over half of the tank, and it should be fine. My humidity is always around 55% and I just make the towel damp 1 time in the morning and 1 time at night.
Re: Foil covering, air holes?
Cover about 3/4ths of the screen top.
Towels are only a temporary way to control humidity. A wet towel needs to be changed every couple days to prevent mold.

If you cover it with tin foil or mylar it should help with both heat and humidity.
Also, if your tank isn't covered on three sides you might be losing heat there aswell.
