    Not digesting
    My 09 hatchling corn snake ate 2 pinkies last tuesday. One lump is still clearly visible today!

    setup = 85 to 73 with 50% humidity

    what do I do?

    Unfortunately I have no way of posting pics. The lump is exactly pinkie size, and is a little further than 1/2 way down her body.

    Hmm.Well since pinkies are almost nothing they should break down in a day or two.How are you reading your heat temps?

    I am using two probed thermometers. And I actually was wondering if they were on the fritz, so I grabbed the expensive probe from my BPs cage, wiped it down and stuck it in.... but my temp readings are good ones.

    Hmmmm. What substrate do you have him on? I'm wondering if maybe he swolled some substrate or something and that has gotten impacted and is causing swelling. Probably time for a trip to the vet.

    I agree with Joe, it should be broken down, or regurged if they're not digesting it.

    I was planning a trip the the vet, but it resolved itself! I am keeping a close eye on the little girl though. Thanks all for the help.
