yeai know this is a bit late but........ where was the mouse/rat? i just lost one today and i really have no clue what room it would be in..... please help me..

Hahah, that's okay. She actually escaped AGAIN. But, (and I don't know if this sounds cruel/nasty) she had a rather large tumor at the time of her escape, so I don't imagine she will last long anyway.
She had been/is hiding out in our bedroom - that's why I had troubles sleeping. Throughout the whole house, with all its nooks and crannies, she had to choose MY room. Oy vey.
The best you can do when it comes to your missing rodent, is first decide what lengths you will go to when it comes to catching it, and LISTEN. Listen very well for its whereabouts. Look for signs of a nesting place (feces, smell of urine, shredded material, leftover food), or areas that it visits often. If the rodent isn't of much value to you, set up traps and wait. If you want it alive, it'll take some time and work.
