where to order thermostat

I am going to order a thermostat for an incubator that I am going to build. I was going to get the helix and flexwatt from reptile basics (I have ordered for there before and was happy). Problem is I looked up the herpstat at spyder robotics and it is cheaper, and I hear just as good.

So I was going to order herpstat through spyder robotics and the flexwatt from reptile basics, but then I went to the beanfarm and they have the herpstat and the flexwatt there, but I have never ordered from there.

So I guess my question is, what would you guys do in order to pretty much insure a good quality product, within a good time frame?

rich at reptile basics will take care of you. GREAT guy, amazing customer service. I've ordered from him probably 7 times in the last few years and he is always up on everything. Answers every question, etc.

Yeah he's the best. I love the pre wired double ranco I got from him. Gonna order another Single Ranco monday.

Don't know much about helix but they are a big name and he carries them to.

I would go with the herpstat straight from spyder robotics and the flexwatt from reptile basics.

How do you use herpstats? Do they come with power strips to plug UTH's into to regulate? Or are they tape only?

how many can you plug into the herpstat? and can you chanhe the temp from each outlet?

I'm in total agreeance. I've always dealt directly with spyderrobotics and It's been a pleasure.

When it comes to my snake collection, almost everything I own outside of the snakes themselves comes from reptile basics. Amazing prices, custom service and speed.

Thank you kaorte, This is kind of what I'm leaning towards. Thank you everyone else for you opinions also.

I guess I already had my mind made up. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get a bunch of people saying "oh my god, DON'T by from there" for either of the places.
