Rescues ate!

Nyoka and the corn snake ate today! I was so excited. The ball python ate a nice small rat and the corn had a large mouse. So now we know they will eat. :P

I love that feeling, especially when it is a rescued animal. Today was a good day over all, so this was just a really awesome bonus. :D If she keeps eating like she did today, I'll bet she'll go home with her Mommy a big girl! Now I just need to get those eye caps off. I looked at several threads about it but I will post up a picture of the one eye that looks bad to get some thoughts on it.

I hope my snakes first shed goes well. I actually had a nightmare about eyecaps last night.

Haha, I've never had a dream about bad sheds or eye caps but I did have a dream last night that my corn snake had live babies (even though they lay eggs) and I had a hatchling carpet python (which I have not been interested in keeping)

I'll take the dream carpet off your hands if you handle my dream eyecaps. :P
