Stick with trying the frozen/thawed. If the snake doesn't eat this week, try again next week. Make sure you're preparing the rodent properly. Use your heat gun to see if the rodent is above 100 degrees.

Don't give in, don't feed the snake until it eats a frozen thrawed.

Now that's easier said than done and I've given in before too. But they will eat the F/T eventually.

    Good Luck!

Have you tried leaving the f/t feeder in the cage over night?

I agree with JHSMith, don't give in. Let the snake go good long while before you give up. I had a california king snake that went 5 months on me not eating because it refused f/t. One day he came to his senses and he now pounds them down like nobodies business.
So I think the best trick is time, although privacy, darkness, patience etc, are all good things to think about as well.

How are you offering the rodent? Are you just lying it in the cage or are you making the rodent appear to be "alive" by moving it around the cage with tongs?

My ball pythons will not eat if I just set the dead rodent in the cage. I always move the rat around the cage with tongs and they hit it every time.

    Good Luck!
