Anybody here keep frilled dragons?
I've always thought they were fascinating but heard different things about husbandry, temperament, etc. Well, I was in a local reptile shop and they had one. I've known the owner for years and he seems to really know his stuff so I asked him about their husbandry and he said it's similar to bearded dragons except their diet I believe is strictly insects. At any rate, this guy was so freaking tame he would take crickets from your hand! And he was a very young one. I had to keep telling myself impulse buys are bad, impulse buys are bad...I think I might have to get one of these in the future so anybody familiar with keeping them, let me know your thoughts.
Re: Anybody here keep frilled dragons?
I don't own one but from what I've they are kept semi-similar to beardies. But they need vertical space more than horizontal like beardies. They like to climb. You might want to try beardeddragon.org. There are a few experienced people on there that keep them. Check under the Frilled Dragon section. They are adorable though. Someday I want one too. Let me know if you decide to give in and get him :)

Thanks. Not sure I'm ready for another multiple times a week feeding animal but when/if I am, I definitely would like one of these.
