what am i doing wrong (if anything)
ok heres the rundown....
i have a 1600g female paired up with one of my boys. theyve been pairing up since december or november and locking every single day multiple times without fail. ive been cooling for about a month down to 84ish. sometimes they really go at it! some eager snakes one would assume... the girl hasnt eaten in 3 months and the male in 2. now the issue........ i thought she had taken because for about a week she stopped locking.. separated them, temped up and a week later nothing. paired them back up and bam!!! locks like crazy.... had to turn the temps back down and still nothing just locks... should i see some kind of development here???? should i try my other male again (he never locks with her, she shows no interest). she seems to be lighter in color (glow?) but no follacles i could find and no signs of OV. no bowl wrapping, no shed, no lumps.... help/advice????????:weirdface
i want babies :(
Re: what am i doing wrong (if anything)
you should definetly be seeing signs if she has eggs. im going to guess though that the male is young?

she never ovulated yet and no follacles...... im not expecting eggs yet but i would have expected some kind of development so far. and my male is about a yr old (jul09) and about 7-800g. my other male is 1000g and 5ish (so im told but that sounds small for the age)

If there's no follicles yetthen I would assume you're not going to get any this season. Same thing happened to me this year
Re: what am i doing wrong (if anything)
I would keep piring thwm up until end of April or until you saw signs! You cab breed all year long and breeding season is not done yet so you still have a chance!
Re: what am i doing wrong (if anything)
You're not doing anything wrong. Sometimes things don't work out. That's why they make next years! Give it some time, you never know, she can hold sperm for some time.
Good Luck!
