    Crazy idea...
    Alright im going to do my best on wording this question.

    Who is the most renown/recommeded and/or top reptile vet/or herpatologist in the country and how can i email him/her?

    maybe your on this site an i dont know it?:confused::O.

    Why i ask? : Well ive been arguing back and forth with my teacher for a long while now about the pythons in the everglades and how far north they'll go and just about everything worngful (from what I know of) the media has said ect. He (teacher) seems to believe EVERYTHING the mainstream media (ignorantly) says and he is pretty stubborn LOL, he refuses to listen to my argument,

    What better way to settle this than to talk(email most likely) to the top herpatologist /vet in the country and get an answer from him- about what he thinks about this situation in the everglades, and if he thinks the mainstream media is wrong about all the trash there talking about our beloved pythons - and then show it to my teacher!. i know its far fetched and i probably wont get an answer but its worth a shot right?!

    (i will of course present what the person tells me to my teacher respectfully, i dont want to do it to be disrepectful i want to do this so we can both learn- hopefully)

    WOW im crazy :taz::banana::rolleye2:

    BTW: i know they are invasive and they deffinetly should be removed from the everglades in florida

    What are some other things you've heard the media or people say about pythons that you think is incorrect?

    Thankyou in advance.

    Dr. Scott Stahl, DVM in MD is arguably the top herp vet in the country.

    There's a link in laws and legislation though that you might want to look at. Be right back and will post it.

    And go check out VPI's website for some papers that Dave and Tracey Barker - both renowned herpetologists have written on the subject.

    Out of curiosity, what subject does your teacher teach? I find it hard to believe any teacher in any field related to biology would believe any of that garbage even if they had a general understanding of the physiology of tropical reptiles... Heck, I have a hard time trying to figure out how anyone who has a brain might think a tropical reptile species could survive in temperate environments that drop below freezing at any point during the year.
