    Any *eyes* for Axanthic
    I was interested in opinions about this snake pictured at age 3. Sorry the pics arent the best but do you think this could be an axanthic or a hypermelanistic animal, just a normal? Thanks for looking. Happy herping.

    I'm leaning towards normal but in blue pics make it fairly difficult - I would re-post after the shed is over.

    Looks like a normal to me!

    But yes, put some pictures up when its out of shed so that we can make the final diagnosis.

    Thanks Dr Del. These date stamps are correct unfortunately. from december of 05 . I no longer own the animal and these are the only pics i have - a couple head pics. Can you tell me if adult axanthics leak at all and show a little bit of yellow because from the pics there seems to be a tiny bit of yellow. Thanks for your help

    I dont think so, A bright yellow would become white, and a dark/brown yellow more of silverish color in Axanthics.

    It looks like a normal to me. heres a pic of my ghost to compair to an the second is a pic of a jolliff axanthic from the Ralph Davis website. To me it looks like a normal
