    BP Hungry??
I got my 2 month old pastel on friday, and I fed him on saturday because the last time he was fed before I got him was on Monday. He took the mouse no problem.

I am curious, do some of the younger BPs around the 2 month mark like to eat more than every 5-7 days?

After my BP ate the mouse, he hung out in his hot hide for 2 straight days. Now, he has been in his cooler hide for 2 straight days, and today he has had his head sticking out of his hide ALL day. It makes me think that he is watching for food to walk by or something.

Is it possible my young BP is hungry again after eating only 4 days ago?

Most people keep their ball pythons under 500g on a 5 day schedule and move up to every 7 days after that.

so after 4 days, yes your snake could very well be hungry again. I would wait and just feed every 5 days. Just make sure you are feeding enough to keep him full. An adult mouse would probably be a good size for him.

I feed my 3 month 144g BP an adult mouse every 5 days. She eats like a champ :gj:

EDIT: I may have just jinxed myself. Today is feeding day. Watch her not eat now ;)
