    Eating advice please?
I tried feeding her today with a f/t fuzzy. She came out her hide to smell the fuzzy and did nothing but stare and flicker her tongue. I used tongs for the first 10 minutes and i eventually dropped the fuzzy in the cage. She is still staring and smelling the fuzzy and its been about an hour.
Is it bad to leave the fuzzy in there over night?
How long should i wait before trying to feed again?
    Any tips or advice?
I am thinking of trying again in the appropriate amount of time.
Then i plan to try with a freshly killed.
Then i plan to try live.
She seems interested but is not striking and eating the prey.
It seems like shes having a staring contest with the dead fuzzy in the cage.

I would put the mouse inside the warm hide overnight. Sometimes this will work.

Good deal! I have one or two that I just place the prey inside the hot hide and its gone overnight.

I am happy to hear that she ate!

It isn't too big of a deal, but next time I would but the mouse on a towel or tray of some kind. It will help prevent your baby from swallowing shavings when it goes to eat and possibly impacting herself.

You will want to cover the back and sides of her enclosure! Possibly she wouldn't take it right away bc she was scared! You'll still be able to see her out the front, and she'll feel WAY more secure! Glad she ate for you!

I have a girl and that is all she does. She shows at first intrest but then shys away. I leave it infront of here every feeding and within 1 hr .. poof all gone..
She has never struck or even just wrapped the food. My shy lil eater but ya know she eats good now that I have figured it out.

I wish you the best of luck & happy feeding.

Just feed it live and be done with it. Most will eat live long before any other method. If it doesn't want a rat pup, try a small live mouse.
