Hi all, im considering getting a leo at some time in the near future and i have a quick question, its probably a stupid one so bear with me, what kind of tile do u use for the substrate? i mean like outdoor tiles, floor tiles? sorry if its a really stupid question, just something that i was wandering about.

If all else fails i'll just use paper towl:P

I use 12 x 12 ceramic floor tiles in my tanks (20 longs), 1 tile on the warm side and paper towel for the rest of it. Don't get a super slick tile (like glossy marble), a bit of a rough surface works nicely.
You can just lay them in the tank and pop them out for easy cleaning :)

I use slate tiles / paper towels for my leos and bearded dragons. l dont glue anything down since I pull them out and run them through the dish washer. It works real well.
