    Love Handles
I finally got a scale in, and it looks like in about 3 or 3 and 1/2 weeks my 09 BP Wyatt has gone from 145 grams to 182 (a few days before he ate again, on an empty stomach I guess)...He was born in October, is this a normal weight for his age? Also, is 40 grams or so a month average, low, or high weight gain? He has eaten once every 7 days since I got him last month. Appreciate any available expertise and advice on this, just want to make sure my boy will grow big and strong! :spork:

They all gain weight differently, so we can't really say what is normal. In the first few months of having my BPs, they packed on weight. So in my experience, yes it's normal. To someone else though, it may not be.

Yes, if you are offering appropriate food and your bp is eating regularly, I don't see how that could be abnormal.

usually in the first year or so they will hit 1 or 2 big growth spurts and really pack it on...

Cruising kingsnake or fauna, I just see some 09s whooars 3 or 400 grams, and it just worried me I got a runt or something..looking at his feeding chart, the first five or so meals were 10-13 days apart, but since then he has consistany eaten once every 7 days...I was considering moving it to once every 5 or less but don't want to "powerfeed"

But it also depends when in '09 they were born. A january '09 will weigh a lot more than an october '09.
