    A letter from my senator!!!
I was one of the people that wrote my state senate in regards to s.373. i was very hurt to find out that they are trying to put a ban on a hobby that i love and survive on. this is the letter my senator sent me in return.

Needless to say I wont be voting for this guy ever again.

Well he started out sounding like he had a spine..

but he did reply, maybe you should try to keep up conversation with him, show him more of the facts involved that he might be missing, and the facts that are missing on the bill. Theres always the initial fall out if the bill passes as it is, of owners and less responsible breeders releasing their now banned pets because they have no other real option.
I'm sure you know more about the implications than I do and what to tell him. I think persistence is key in alot of these cases.

Are their other members in Portland willing to send letters as well?

Can members from other states send letters? Id be willing to write one up as well.

i myself have been looking for the 9 species as well, i believe it went from 40 to 9 but i cant find the 9 that are targeted i think i know of a few such as the green and yellow anaconda, african rock python, burmese python, i'm not sure if redtails are included or not but i really wish i could find the 9 specific species.

Friggan politicians they can all go take a long walk off a short pier if you ask me.

You know one of my state senators jeff sessions, his office actually called me back and they supported my view point. And I actually felt like I was able to give them some new helpful info.

The other one Richard shelby, who is a fed loving &^#*^#&, didn't even call me back. I need to keep trying to get ahold of that loser.

This S373 has me worried man. I want a boa and a yellow conda someday. And I don't want this stupid stupid legislation to pass and hurt so many breeders, animals, and pet owners. Not to mention reptile suppliers. The whole damn trade man! I mean this is Just Bull.
