    Bleeding after breeding?
Hello folks need a bit of advice this is the second time I have found blood on the paper substrate after placing a het pied male and female together. The male has been with two other females and I have not noticed any blood on the paper in those enclosures. I believe it is the male bleeding as the blood spots are two spots about 1/2 to 3/4 inch apart leading me to think it is his hemipenis.
Anyone know what may be happening here? It is not a lot of blood but I did not think there should be any?
Thank you all for any help!

what your seeing is possible scent glad laying. Females will excret blood when rubbing/tail wagging her scent around the tub. This is normal to see small amounts. If its a lot all over then one of the 2 has a injury.

There are no injuries, I have checked them both over several times and cannot find anything. That is why I had the question. Thank you for your response, I did not know about scenting using blood and yes, it is very small amounts. I just want to make sure everything is going as it should. I have had BP’s for sometime but this is my first attempt at breeding and I guess I am a bit nervous.

Agreed. When that tail starts wagging a mess is always the result. Sometimes it is urates, blood, and even feces left afterwards.
