    a dumb Q.. lol
I've heard mixed things about this.. just want to clear it up.

when your bp is in shed.. you know the ghost like look and the blue over eyes..

    do you feed them anyways..???

    why or why not???

reason why i ask is cuzz feeding day for my 2 bps is tomorrow...

and my normals is really deep in shed.. has really clouded eyes... and about as deep as they get into shed lol..

surprisingly none of my bps have ever been in shed on feeding day till now lol.. thats why it took me this long to ask hahaha..

Some will eat while in shed and some won't. After a while you will pick up on your particular snake's willingness to eat in shed. I have a couple that will refuse, but most will still eat.

I don't like to feed when the eyes are blue! They can't see so the may miss and get hurt. It's really what you are comfortable with!

personally i still offer and let them make their own mind up, sometimes they do and sometimes they dont.

my male usually does but i think he would eat every day if he could, lol :)

i would give it a try and after a couple of sheds bein offered food u will know if they will take it or not.

i feed f/t so i always offer on feeding day no matter what. sometimes they will strike and sometimes i have leave it in the warm hide over night. but they always eat. depending on what u feed, i say go for it. if u feed live i recommend u wait to prevent harm to ur snake

I don't feed if they're in the blue stage. This is the time were the snake is the most irratable. Some will eat, but most won't, at least this has been my experience. Like other's have said, give it a try. You will soon learn your snake's prefernces.

    Good Luck!

So it's not bad to feed them in shed?
I was worried last time I fed mine because it started his face in shed for him.

I always offer. Most of mine will eat even if they are in shed. But even if they dont I leave it on them. This way I dont feel bad that Im starving my snakes. Just watch em to make sure that if they get a bad strike they dont get bit.

Snakes have poor vision to begin with. They hunt with their heat pits. There are snakes that are 100% blind that can eat no problem.

I offer food to all my snakes during shed. Out of all the times I have offered during shed, I think I had one refusal.

There is nothing wrong with offering food during a shed, it will not hurt the snake. Some will eat and some won't. The only way to find out is to offer it to them and see.
