    tub size?
i am planning on building a rack system 4 my royals and woul like 2 know wot size tub would be recomended 4 adult royals.

i have been lookin at the kompliment tubs in ikea but not sure wot size would be suitable.

also im not good wi this gallons measurement 4 the tubs so i have no clue wot size a 50 gallon tub would actually be as im used to a ?cm x ?cm x ?cm style measurement.

if any1 has any other suggestions of where i could get a suitable tub it would be helpfull but remember i live in scotland and mite not be able to get from the same sources as most of u who seem 2 live in america or canada.

If you can find something around the size of an Iris CB-70 or a Sterilite 41 qt tub, those work great for adult ball pythons. The dimensions of CB-70 tubs are approx. 86cm x 44cm x 14cm.

I would say that is a little on the big side.

    Something like this: http://www.target.com/Sterilite-32-q...ox%20Plum&qid=

Would be good for an adult male. You would want something equivalent to a 40qt tub for an adult female.

Remember to pick tubs with a smaller height. These guys are terrestrial so the floor space is more important then the height.

That'd be fine for a big female. You could keep a male in something a bit smaller though.

the next 1 down is a 50 x 58 cm tub, would this be 2 small?

i could maybe use the 75 x 58 cm tubs but provide plenty of hides within it, would this be ok or would it prob still be a little on the large side 4 an adult male?

I would go with the big one so you can use the rack for male and female adults! I think a full grown male will be fine in that if you provide a nice hide!

nice 1, thank you! will stick wi the bigger 1 then!

i want them 2 have as much space as they would be comfortable with to enjoy as good a life as possible.

my male is a very bold wee guy who seems totally unafraid of anything, extremely friendly wee guy tho!:D im sure he will be fine.
