Does your Ball Python kind of flex in your hands?
When I hold and handle donut (my ball python) lol, he seems to constrict and tighten his muscles in my hand, like when i hold him as if i was holding a banana lol, i was just wondering if thats normal, or if hes kind of using me to help him digest food and break it down. thanks in advance

Snakes are just one big muscle. So if he is trying to hold onto you, he is flexing his muscles.

BTW, I have a ball python names donut too!! :giggle:

Yup, what she said. Some are more nervous than others, and you can kind of tell how they tense up or stay balled up when handling them. Also, they just like to hold onto something when they are not on the ground.
The best way for them to digest food is to sit, stationary, on the warm side.
