Breeding within the family
Is it okay to breed mom and son or dad and daughter or brother and sister? I was just wondering if it will cause any problems!
Re: Breeding within the family
It is perfectly fine to inbreed as long as you breed into a new gene pool every couple of generations to help strengthen the blood line. Without inbreeding we wouldn't have all of our receive morphs we have today because in the beginning you have to breed the het children back to the parent to make more visuals.

A road trip to the local Walmart down south will answer this question real quick.:rofl::rofl: Sorry southern fans, it was just sitting there and BG just couldn't resist.:P
With snakes it's done all the time. Every single morph was produced this way. Some morphs do have problems though.

It's fine to do so, when we breed and we try to prove out a gene or possible het gene we breed back the offspring to the parents. But the catch is to not keep in breeding after a few generations because the offspring will get.. dumber.
