Sitting on her cold side while digesting.
I fed all my snakes yesterday, and they all ate! So relieved, best day in the year so far!

Snickets took her rat, and is now laying in her cold side. The temp is about 80*. I'm tempted to pick her up and put her in her warm hide, but don't know if I should since the digestion process is taking place. I checked on her before I went to bed, and she was sitting in the cold side. I thought, "Well, maybe she'll move to the warm side over night" Checked on her first thing when I woke up and she's still on her cold side.

So should I pick her up and move her, or just wait and see what happens? I'm worried about a regurg. I dealt with one of those 3 weeks ago, and would never like to smell that smell again.

    Thanks in advance!

Your snake knows what best. If it's laying on the cold side, then that's where it wants to be. No reason to move it to somewhere it doesn't want to be.

Thanks Jim! I was thinking about that, I checked her temp, it's at 93*. There's nothing wrong with her warm side. Only her little brain knows!

93 degrees is a little on the warm side for me. I like 90 degrees. But if your snake has been spending time on the warm side, then 93 degrees probably isn't too warm.

    Good Luck!

Well, a while ago I had her at 90 and then she went on a hunger strike. Bumped it up to 93 and she started eating again. So I'm sticking with it... Although I might try to get it to 92.

I checked on her again and she's in her warm hide now. Takes some worry off my shoulders, lol.
