Newbie here - which Ball morph...?
Hello all, this is my first post to BP.net! I've been a reptile enthusiast for pretty much my whole life, and right now I have just one scaly pet - a wonderful little leopard gecko I've had for seven years. Recently I've been thinking about getting a ball python, just as a pet.

I've been looking at various morphs, and I can't seem to decide which one to get! They really are all beautiful in their own ways. I'd be looking for one priced $300 or under, but I've noticed that different breeders seem to price the same morph differently.

What I really want, though, is a morph with visible pupils - the wild type ones seem to have uniformly black eyes, but I think the ones with the pupils visible against a lighter background look so adorable. Does anyone have any recommendations for a bp morph with this type of eye coloration that isn't too expensive?

    Many thanks!

Pastels have really nice eyes. :)

You can get a smokin' male for a good price. (all pastels are not created equal).

some are more green than others so look around until u find 1 u like.

good luck wi whatever u get1 :gj:

Wow, thank you all for the quick replies. I actually was considering a Pastel, I just wondered if there were any others. I think I will go with a pastel if I can find one with such green eyes - that sounds beautiful. That is, if I don't end up finding another "secondhand" reptile locally; I got my leo from someone who was bored with it.

My spider has lighter eyes than my pastel, my pastel's seems to be more in the darker side.

I really like the pastels, as does everyone else. Be careful with a spider purchase, just do your research and make sure it does not have a severe wobble. You could also look into a male orange ghost they are really nice and in that same price range.
