    Regurgitation
One of my balls regurgitated today. I had moved them over to a tub/rack unit from glass tanks and I'm thinking it was the stress of moving, I hope?

So from what I've searched I should wait 10-14 days before attempting to feed again to let him settle, correct?

I just feel really bad, I had fed him 4 days prior to the move and hoped that was enough. All the other snakes have been good so far, so keeping fingers crossed. Oh, temps are 91 on the hot spot, ambient is 85 and the cool side is 78ish. Humidity is around 55% and they have access to a moist hide as well as a cool and warm hide. I think that is it. Just hoping that this will be a one time occurance because that was one of the NASTIEST smells I have even come across. Phew!

    Thanks!

after 4 days....are you sure it was a regurge? I know you stated it smelled really bad...which is a sign. But maybe it was poo with allot of hair? 4 days is just a long time for a regurge in my opinion. Lets see what the experts say!

I agree with Michelle, are you sure it was a regurg and not poo?

I agree too. When youngsters can eat every 5 days, a regurge after 4 days seems very odd. If it is in fact a regurge then something is wrong. Try to be sure it wasnt a wet stinky poo. They do have those sometimes. Otherwise it may be time for a vet trip after a week or 2 for some deworming.

It was the nastiest, smelliest thing I've ever seen and it was still semi-intact. Looked like a mouse pelt, that was slimy and deflated. I just checked my feeding records. He last ate on the 14th, and I moved him yesterday (16th), so it was only two days...my fault. I had fed him and one other a day later than the rest of them. So I'm hoping it was the move. I've had him since September and he's been awesome. He's currently 468 grams. I got him from NERD and he's been on F/T since day one, so hoping it's not a parasite overload. I will keep an eye on him and if it should happen again I'll bring him in. So I should stick with the 10-14 days before feeding again correct?

    Re: Regurgitation
2 days sounds plausible for a regurg.

Just give him a couple weeks off from feeding to let his digestive system recover and then continue feeding normally.

Just like Steffe said, IMHO i would wait two weeks after a regurg to feed again.

I was panicking and then I remembered that two of the snakes had been fed the next evening. I was so glad he was one of them. I will leave him be for two weeks and try again. Thanks so much!
