    Worried about underfeeding
My BP Loki (~ 3 months old, ~1.5 feet long, no idea on weight) has eaten 5 meals with me now. 3 hoppers and for the past two weeks 2 adult mice. I fed him last night (1 adult mouse) and he has been very active this evening, sitting in his hides with his head out waiting for another meal. I watched him move from one hide to another and I noticed there was no lump in his body. Does this mean I am feeding him too small of meals?? The mice seem about the right size, they are roughly equal to the width of Loki at his widest point. Should I start trying to get bigger mice?

This is a decent size guess for the mouse. Mine was maybe a little larger

Sitting in the hide with his head poking out does not necessarily mean he's ready for another meal. If you don't see a lump after a day or two this is fine. I usually only see a lump right after they eat and MAYBE the day after. All my snakes are fed small rats (50-70g) and all of mine are gaining weight just fine. Just keep feeding him a feeder that is the same width as his widest girth, and you should be fine.
