    Largest Mouse Litter?
We breed a lot of mice, some for feeder, others for pets and show. We had a female a few weeks ago drop 19 babies. Anybody ever have anything like that?

Wow! That's a lot of squirming jelly beans (my nic name for baby mice..sorry)

I have never had a female drop any more than 13-14 babies, but of course, I have not been breeding very long.

Our mice are also HUGE. I just euthanized our brindle breeder male last week. He was 61g. :O

Wow, that is a big mouse. My breeder females are around 40g when they are not pregnant, and get up to 50g+ when pregnant. Someone posted a while ago, mice that were well over 100g. I need to get me some of those!

I just had a litter of 22 born the other day and this is her first litter at 10 weeks old.
I also have two that birthed together for a total of 39, also first time mothers.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to take down the litters as there is no way they will be able to nurse all of them. Oh well the CWD's love pinks.

My biggest litter was 21... usually my average litter is 10-14 babies but younger mom's tend to drop larger litters.
