    New Russian Trot
This is Boris warming himself for breakfast.
I just picked him up last week. I am trying to stop the improper growth of his shell. I have been soaking him every day, trying to get him to pass the carrots that he had been fed as a staple. He is dinning today on Romaine and Endive with some Cuttle bone. Yesterday he had the same with some TNT. I will vary it up once he is eating well. I planted two containers of good weeds for him yesterday; once they are started I can feed him that. He’s not eating as much as he should, but hopefully that will change. When the weather warms up a little I can put his enclosure on the terrace for some natural sun light, also we can take walks around the lake so he can play in the grass.

Cute, they are tough lil buggers. I have a Russian, his name is Stoly. He recently woke up from his hibernation. They are like four wheel drive torts. Mine is a rescue that was found wandering about. They can take a licking and keep on ticking.

Congrats with the new fellow. Torts rock!
