This is Jade, my pretty girl. She wasn't handled by her old owner, who had her for a year (she grew barely any during that time... she wasn't fed much) so she was quite aggressive for a while, but I thought I had calmed her down with regular handling. Unfortunately, even though I washed my hands thoroughly before taking her out, she bit me again today before the photoshoot, haha. She's an '08 baby. Yeah, she's kinda small.

Also, I know nothing about King morphs, just what my friend told me. Do you have any insight as to her morph?

    She's really pretty.

I'm not very sure about the growth rate on kings, but I thought it was similar to corns in that they start out on mouse pinks and so their growth can be a little slow at first until they can take bigger meals. So maybe she isn't all that small for an '08.

My cali king is a late '08 and he's on small rats for each meal.

I don't know much about cali king mutations either, but I'd call him a chocolate stripe.

I've been giving her 1 mouse per week, and they're right between hoppers and fuzzies, just a smidge bigger than her width. She weighs 125g. Am I feeding her correctly?
As I mentioned, she was quite small when I got her from her old (neglectful) owner, and she's grown exponentially since then.
    Thanks for your input! :)

You can just gradually increase the size of prey for her. Sounds like you're doing well. If she looks hungry before a week, feed her more frequently.
