How often do you feed your adult BP?
Just curious as to how often you feed your adult BP from what I have read on hear people start feeding babys as often as every five days then switch to a week some stay at a week others slow to every ten days and some every two weeks. I'd love to hear people's reasonings behind why they feed that often.

I personally am going with a weekly schedule right away to get some size on my little ones. Having my little ones on a schedule helps me to better keep track of when they eat and dont eat. Also I like to have the days I am off that they are not digesting so I can take em out.

I offer food every week. If they eat great if not then then wait till next week.I feed every week cause I offer smaller meals and like to see steady growth rather than sudden spurts of growth..

I feed all of mine weekly as well.

I feed my 1300g 1 1/2 year old male once a week. But I think once he gets around 1500g or around 2 years old I will switch to once every 10 days.
My reasoning behind this? He doesn't need energy to breed right now (don't have a female yet). It's not like they are that active, and also -- how often do you think they would actually eat in the wild??

I've been curious about this as well, so I'm glad you asked for me :P haha
Anyway, right now I'm feeding my females every week :gj:, and my lil male every other week since I don't need him to be super huge yet. He's at about 200 grams right now but he won't have a girlfriend for quite a while so I'm in no hurry for him to be big yet.
Plus with his attitude I'm not so sure I want him to be big yet :rolleyes:... lol.
