wood ducks

i was planning on take a big trip to see these guys, but this morning i saw them in a creek on my way home from mountain biking.

iso 1600, 500 mm f/4 is w/ 2x tele. hand held.

Just a male or 2 no females ? Indeed a pretty species of duck but many are beautifly colored..Nice pics..
