Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
Why is your ball python in your car only a day after feeding? As far as finding them. They can squeeze their way into some pretty tight spots. They can get into the mechanics of your seats, into your dash, etc.
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
check under the seats first. on the way back from the vet my wife would let her crawl on her lap, one day she kinda dazed out or whatever and the snake was under the seat sleepin
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
Turn your car on. Put the heater on high and hope he comes out before he cooks. With the cold most of the country is experiencing his meal could rot before it digests. If you do turn the heater on, keep checking regularly. Don't do this in a garage with the door closed.
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
i just got him today, and didnt know he had eaten until i asked what he was eating. its 60 degrees outside right now, is it likely his meal will rot? how long does that take?
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
and i already tore my car apart looking for him for the last hour or so.
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
Dang my Pastel got out Yesterday, how did your Ball python get out exactly?
Do what wilomn said, it's your best bet, even in that 60 degree weather.
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
i just had this happen with a baby boa..
look EVERYWHERE. get someone who knows cars and how to take apart certain pieces. If you know where he was when he got out, start there.
I ended up finding my girl inside the passenger seat gears that control the arm rest. If my friends who knew cars weren't there i would have NEVER found her. Granted, i have a Nissan and apparently they are held together by locking plastic pins (???) but it was useful to have someone there who knew how to take the car apart and put it back together.
For future reference, always SECURE reptiles in snake bags or taped transport deli cups. I hope you find him.
Re: HELP!!! lost my 12in BP in my CAR!!!
he was sitting on the passengers lap, and i guess he sneakily got of her lap?
