Not at all. Blindfold yourself and eat a bowl of cereal. You will feel well accomplished.:D

Re: Feeding While shedding?
They will eat or they wont.
Re: Feeding While shedding?
The reason some people don't offer while the snake is in shed is b/c many won't eat. I usually offer, and if they take it, great, if not, oh well and try again next week. I think only one of mine won't eat while in shed. It's not bad, but the snakes that are more shy tend to not eat if they are deep in blue.
Re: Feeding While shedding?
i have a pastel that will eat during shed but then again my mojave wont eat its all up to the snake it wont hurt them.
Re: Feeding While shedding?
There is nothing wrong with feeding while in the blue, if your snake will go for it go right ahead and feed them. Probably better to feed them after they clear up right before they shed. So, right after their eyes clear up feed them.
Helps stretch the skin, and helps them shed better.
Learned that trick from Bryan Long (blong) on here :)

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I'm assuming "Blue" means their eyes have developed caps? Or they go foggy? He was like that last night, he didn't take the second one, but he ate the first one in five minutes...
Re: Feeding While shedding?
yes their sight is foggy, but they have a good sense of smell and can hit the warm prey with out any trouble.
