Anybody see the cut on Miguel Torres' head (warning graphic pic)...
This is the result of an elbow that Joseph Benavidez landed on Miguel Torres durring their fight Saturday night. He said it required 20 stitches to close it up. Looks like you can see his skull :O

Dang!!!...That's wicked...The elbow does some major damage and bloodies up the floor real good...I imagine that left a huge mess in the Octagon...

Elbows are a major asset to an mma fighter. A lot tougher then the hand and you could possibly end the fight by giving your opponent a bad cut. Tito Ortiz used to try to do that. He would try to ground and pound and cut you with an elbow to try and win the fight. A cut on the forehead and all the blood naturally flows into your eyes and makes it very hard to see even if they don't stop the fight.

And for those who do not know Miguel Torres is the former WEC bantamweight champion. He is a REALLY good fighter. That just goes to show you it could happen to anyone...
