burm cage, with melamine and acrylic?
Im planing on building a cage for my burm, I'm a carpenter so the best way for me is to use melamine 3/4", but for the bottom Im thinking of making an acrylic box that spends the entire floor of the cage, to catch all the liquids, since burms tend to pee in large quantities, has any one done these? also looking to see if I can place the flexwatt between the melamine and acrylic, or should I go for radiant heat instead?
When working with acrylic how difficult is it to cut and weld together?

I would highly recommend that you use 3/4" plywood and that you seal it really well.
