    The Right Weight
Hi just wondering i weighed my bp today and he ways 260g and im just wondering is this about right because it seems small to me. I have had him just over 5 months and the guy in the shop told me he was at most a couple of months old but probaly just under a month old so hes around 6 or 7 months old does this sound about right. I feed him a 31g mouse every 7 days. Also i dont actually know whether its male of female but based on its size im guessing male.

Also in the time ive had him he's only shed twice and the last time was about 4 to 5 weeks ago i think

    Thanks

Maybe a little small, you can feed him every 5 days if you want. He would like that. I keep mine on a 5 day feeding schedule until they are around 500g's. Little ones are pigs, and usually eat any chance they get. Lol. My Cinnamon boy is about 400 g's and he is probably around 7 months old. That could be the difference in feeding 5 to 7 days.

    u figure every 7 days = 4 feeds

You figure if u do 5 days. Your getting 6 feeds a month. Thats a extra half of what u normally feed him.

So if you do 31g mouse every 7 days thats 124g a month but if you do it 5 thats 186g a month. Thats over to half his body weight in food lol

Edit: We feed ours every 4-5 days

If a cross-section of him would look round, that's good. If it would look more like a triangle, that's too thin. Hope that helps! :)

My 7 month old male is 626 grams! I fed him every 5 days until he was over 500 grams! I would go with a weaned rat(45 grams)!
