    female not laying?
Ok I wish i had detailed records for everyone all I know is one of my females whom I have been breed since September finally ovulated about 2 months ago(just an estimate) she went into her pre-lay shed and actually shed on Feb 5 but I still have no eggs. Shes still as big as a house so I know shes got eggs. My main question is when should I become worried about egg binding or some other unforeseen problem?

Yeah, you've got a week or two left yet. Nothing to worry about.

Your timeline seems a bit strange

If she ovulated 2 months ago you should have had a pre-lay shed 10 to 14 days later.

You mention she had her pre-lay shed on February 5th than she should lay eggs 27-30 days later (well in theory) that is when I start looking for eggs and it can take a bit longer.

Additionally if she indeed ovulated 2 months ago or even if she had a pre-lay almost a month ago you should be able to clearly see the eggs moving.

timeline sounds about right to me if she ovulated about 2 months ago(we"ll say beginning of january or so). then she would have gone blue about mid january and shed in about a week or to making it the beginning of feb. As mentioned I am guestimating the timeline but sounds about right to me. BTW thanks everyone for the info. My girl caught me off guard last year so I wasnt sure of the timelines between blank and blank lol.

You still have a few days to go before you can expect eggs. The female I bred last season laid her eggs 2 months :O after her pre-lay shed. 60 days rather than 30, so it all depends on the individual snake. :D

well if I am right mine in the 30 day count down, she shed in mid january/ early feb and then 13 days later done a second shed and that shed just did happen last night ( her eyes were still blue when i checked on her the night befoer ) got up did my normal check the tubs this moring and she had a poo and a shed right up front so it was spend the night cleaning and checking all the tubs ( mainly a complete clean up in all tubs) On a side note my coke incubator is sitting at 90.7 at the tope and about 89 at the bottom of the ( will check again once i place the shelves in tomorrow.)and give them a 20 hour warm up time. after that it just getting the tub in and setting them up then the dreaded wait lol..
