Odd question in bp weights
I know that bp weight can vary in compare to the age and such. but I was wondering weight wise about what the normal weight max could be on a healthy ball python of adult size that about 5+ years in age.
I have to get a new scale for the larger bll pythons and I prefer to get soemthing that won't get maxed out and still be close on in weight? My current scale said it maxed at about 2300 grams but only get a reading of 2080 grams and I don't think it possible for 3+ snakes to weight the same when they all on different eating patterns. (I got one that not gravid ( that I know of ) and now eating but she still gaining weight it seems. and 2 other that are possible gravid but the scale keeps givign me the same weight on them and the one does eat small meals like a adult pre killed mouse if I offer it to her.
Scale wise would a 6-7 k gram scale be over kill or should I look at something that can go higher ?? I know I don't need some 75 lb scale cause that be one fat ball python and would be eating rabbits at that weight lol..

I use these:

The 7001dx is fantastic, very accurate, 7kg in 1g increments and great value for money, much better than cheap digital kitchen scales.

Re: Odd question in bp weights
The scale I use goes up to 7,000g. Ball pythons often will get over 3,000g so I would think about getting a different scale. Maybe you can use this scale to weigh feeders?
Re: Odd question in bp weights
looking at those scales but I hagh t oby one ans find out later my snakes get overit weight limit .. I knew they outweight this one's ablilities but not so fast/soon. I mean come on I never expected them to put on 1kg or more in a year. lol and Didn't power feed.
