I finally joined the club... (bite pic)

I've taken up photography in te last six months, I wanted to see what my chances were of catching a strike in action.

Set up my remote flashes, got the camera on the tripod and dialed in the focus and exposure, grabbed the rat with my tongs, and promptly accidentally dropped it into the enclosure.

The smart thing to do would be to let it go and let her feed. I didn't do the smart thing.

5' Jungle Carpet, got me right in the webbing between my index finger and thumb. She's a sweetie though, this is the first bite she's given me.

Yeah, her feeding response in insane. After she hit me, she held on. I lifted her out to try and get control of her head, and she responded by trying the chew and walk further onto my hand.

When I got her head and started trying to work her off, she started coiling my arms!

Apparently, she has no concept of 'too big to swallow'.

We live.....we learn ( sometimes :rolleyes: ) and we continue to want more.

I've never heard of someone actually wanting to get bit, especially by a 5' JCP:P
