Hey all! Yesterday was Ontario's first expo of the year, and I found my dream snake. I'm in love with true boas, but desire them on the smaller size, I not much for the giants. Last year, when I discovered the Bolivian Boa (Boa c. amarali), also known as a short-tailed boa, I fell in love. Here's a gorgeous boa that doesn't exceed 6ft in length. This girl will be part of my first breeding project! This is defiently an animal I hope to see more mainstream in the future.

I'll get some more artsy photos up once she settles in more. This is just one of those animals you need to see in person to get a true appreciation for her color, but I think I managed to capture how variable she looks pretty well.
