    What Rack To Get?
So I am looking for a good rack, I am going to purchase from boaphile, but I am confused with what rack to get, this rack is going to be for ball python hatchlings, would the rack that has tubs that are 14 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 4 inches high good? Or do I go for the 16 by 8 by 4? Their is a pretty big price difference, so if I could get away with the smaller one, that would be great.

Those size tubs are equivalent to a 6qt which is fine for a ball python up to around 500g.

Some people may come down on me for this but I keep my balls in a hatchling rack until the go off feed around 800 grams. If they go off feed sooner, I will move them as well. My advice would be to buy the tubs and build the rack yourself. Lllreptile.com has some pretty good tubs or you can buy ARS tubs that are not see through for the sake of the ball not getting stressed.

What do you mean that you wait for them to go off of feed? As if you are saying that it is something they should do? My bp is 1.5 years old, and 1300g, and he has never refused a meal.

I realize that they do go off of feed from time to time, but I am confused by your statement.
