Dave's "professional" photo shoot

My friend with the fancy camera came over again, so we set up the light tent for some photos... unfortunately the lights died pretty quickly, so we had to make do with natural lighting. I tried shooting Julius and Toby first, but they were too squirmy - so I pulled out the super mellow Dave (black pastel), and he was a great subject. :gj: Here are some of the better shots:

Great pics! Even after the lights went out you got some really great shots, not a big deal that they went out imo.

Thanks! Still trying to figure out the lighting, and I really want to get some outdoor shots next time... it's just too darned gloomy in this town, LOL. :cool:

Anyone have tips on improving the photos? They must not have come out too well, since nobody is responding... :P:cool:

Yeah, we actually had a debate - and a poll - over his heritage. :D I agree he looks like a cinny, but he's most definitely a black pastel... he was bred by Robert Seib and is from the Ian G line, which tends to come out more cinnamon-like. I love that he's a "hybrid" of the two (in looks), since it's like having the best of both worlds! :gj:
