Ball Python Hide Box and Striking
My ball python always stays in his hidebox and I don't know why? Is it a bad thing that he does that? Also lately he's been striking at me and I fed him the other day?

Well they stay in their hides all the time which typically means he is happy. They may come out at night which is typically the time they are active. As far as striking....you might be startling him....he could of been sleeping. I try to make a little noise when they are in their hides as to not to scare them. Also he could be getting ready for a shed and sometimes they can get cranky. Think of having a sunburn......and someone touching you.

You don't say what the snake is doing when he's striking at you. Also, how long have you owned the snake?
