    Human illnesses?
Can my BP get sick from me or my family? We have a nasty cold going around...just wondering if there are any extra precautions I need to take to keep him healthy.

Are there any human illnesses that I need to be cautious of, or are BP not susceptible to human illnesses?

I know they can't catch anything from our common cold/flu. I don't know about anything else though.

Since they are cold blooded they have a completely different set of viruses/bacteria that infect them. Common cold or flu bugs and designed to attack cold blooded animals.

Basically, you have nothing to worry about. If you are sick, you cannot get your snake sick.
