    Poop, shed and blood?!
So I woke up this morning and went to check all the snakes. I immediately noticed that my male albino's tub had a bunch of condensation so I was 100% sure he'd shed before I even checked. So I open the tub and sure enough he had shed and then I noticed there was a small amount of blood on the paper towels (that were conveniently soaked from him spilling part of his water).

He pooped as well and it looked fine and his shed was all in one peice. But I am concered about the blood. It was not near the poop so I'm not sure if it was related to that. I dont think he cut himself while trying to get his skin off because he had no marks on him anywhere.

    Here are some pictures.

Anyone know what the blood might be from or if I should be taking a trip to the vet?

His vent looks fine and he's acting like his normal active, feisty self.

Pretty sure someone else asked this question a day or so ago and they got the response that it was normal? Ill try and find the thread where he asked about blood when his shed

Yep, totally normal. I freaked out the first time I saw it too.

As the others have stated that is perfectly normal, nothing to worry about..

It usually comes from where the skin separates from their vent. A few drops are normal. But if you notice it doesn't stop bleeding, then it's time for concern...

Thank you all for your help! No more blood since that day! He's perfectly happy and healthy. I'd just never dealt with that before so I was like "AHHH!", but thank you all again. This forum has helped me so much and you guys have no idea how much I appreciate it!
