Prolapse?

is this normal? previous owner said every time it feed its cloaca looks like this but goes back to normal after relieving itself. what do you think guys? it is around 5 months old and weighs 300g.

No this is not normal. It may possibly be a bacterial infection. See what others say on this forum, but I would think a vist to the vet may be in order. Now I'm not one to run off to the vet, every time something happens, but I think this one may deserve a visit.

I too believe a vet visit is needed. I think parasites can cause that as well.

I would say too this is not right. If it goes back in everytime I would say it might not be a prolasped but perhaps might need a stitch in there to keep it tighter. I have heard of this needing to happen...more so in iguanas but snakes need this at times as well. Other than that.....she might have a bacterial infection or a parasite overload.

Take him to the vet and see what they say.

Yes, not normal. The edges of the surrounding scales look slightly blackened and crusty too.
Also, it may be the light, but what does the belly look like? Reminds me of scale rot.....

So what happened to the snake? is that it seems to me that I have a corn snake with the same symptoms ...

Some of my boys will occasionally evert their penes when they're being handled, but they always suck them back in after a minute or two. And I don't like that color.
