    I so don't want to release my pets at home (view links please)
    This is one good motivation NOT to release exotic pets in the Philippines

    http://philippinepetfinder.com/forum...?f=50&t=136247

    http://www.adventures411.com/philipp...phy_hunts.html

    Snakes are not yet in the menu but that's the point;

    1) they're not being given special attention

    2) it won't be long before they are

    I can't trust our local government on this one; one of my vets once told me that when they confiscated 8 illegally kept endemic pond turtles, they could not find "care sheets" or "documented care info", so they kept them along with the eagles. the next morning, the total count of that endemic pond turtle has been reduced by 8, not to mention my vet totally blowing his top when he found out about the turtles.

    Since it's clear I can't trust them, any ideas where I can report this to? Just to check if it's indeed "legit"...

    Thanks

    I'm not sure I understand what the issue is?
    What are you trying to report?

    I'm really confused.
    Those are all water buffalo hunting links?

    it featured water buffalo hunting pix but at the same time, it also featured crocs on the menu. Can I report this to CITES just to check if this is a legit party?

    It won't be soon when they'll turn to retics and other native herps (king cobras, mangroves, etc) for trophy hunting.

    They're crocodiles that were being farmed for their skins, then the farm was abandoned. The site points out that people from the US probably won't be able to import their kills, but people from other countries would be able to.
