thunderstorms in cali (video)

I lagged it to post this here but im finally taking the time :rolleye2:

i WAS gonna go outside and really record this but as soon as i stepped outside and saw those dark clouds completely covering the sky im like, um, im going back inside lol. not great footage but the first time i got the chance to record this. this happened in the span of almost an hour.

i hate thunder and lightening .... i hate storms .... the only storm i like is snow storms ...

if its thunder and lightening i don't leave my bed ......:confused:

I love thunderstorms. My son and I go sit on the porch and watch/listen. We haven't had a proper one in a while now that I think about it. I guess once spring starts coming they'll pick back up again.

I love thunderstorms but I am a huge chicken and when it's blasting lighting and crashes of thunder right overhead I'm a quivering bowl of jello. That's sorta odd, I know. I guess I like the low rumbles but I hate the lightening close by. It scares the poo outta me

Here, we'd look at that storm as a bit of a shower.

wait until it thundering and lighting durign a snow storm that happen to me. bad part was I on top a house during a fire call cause the tree had landed against the people house and there was a danger of it causing struct damage if it fell completly . so image 4 guy up ther with chain saw and the lighing starts as we are cutting that sucker up. lucky us the snow was melting almost as fast as it landed( for the first hour) befoer it started to stick. we had some fun too we cut the tree into small type logs and let them roll off the side( had command keep it cleared while we works isnce it was safer than walking near the edge trying to carry a section and keep balance ..

man the crazy stuff I did befoer i got wiser with age lol.

Aw, that's so awesome. In Central Cali we don't get storms, just rain. In the 5 years I've lived in Lodi, I've heard thunder maybe 5 times, and never seen lightening strike.

I miss the North Carolina storms :(

Was this the storm that was all early in the morning like CRAZY loud?

It woke me straight up outta bed...loudest thunder I have ever heard in the 805...and thats 24 years of listening..LOL
