    egg tub?
    Just checking to see what people recommend on covering the egg tub with plastic wrap before putting the Tupperware lid on? Also, how often do you take the lid off to air the eggs in the tubs? What is the best gage to use to accurately check humidity levels?
    Thanks, for all the help Google has a lot of answers but I prefer the opinions of the people on this board

    You should use glad press n seal. Then the last 2 weeks should be the only time you should worry about air exchanging. Every couple days should be good, just make sure to tilt the tub a little so water doesnt accumulate on the lid and drip on the eggs.

    I keep my incubator tilted so that I can avoid that issue altogether.

    I would say that to seal or not to seal really depends on the intubation method chosen.

    I use a substrate less incubation method and have never sealed any of my egg boxes.

    I try not to mess with the egg boxes too much :rolleyes: (easier said than done), but during the last 2 weeks I open the tubs about every other day.
