Strangest place you've found your BP?

A few years ago my first ball python had escaped and was loose for about a month. Wrestling season was starting back up at my high school so i grabbed my wrestling shoes from under my bed and headed to practice. I left the shoes in the wrestling room while we ran a few miles. When i got back and started putting my shoes on i reached inside my shoe, felt something cold and rubbery and immediately had one of those "hair on the back of your neck moments". At that point i had no idea what kind of toe nibbling creature was residing in my shoe and was fearing the worst. I looked in a little deeper and to my suprise i found my tiny little ball python snuggled up in my smelly wrestling shoe. I was so happy to have finally found her and also got to show her off to the wrestling team before coach saw :D

any other funny stories about finding your loose balls?

craziest one was when i was like 10 and had my first ball(ernie) with my brother. she had gotten out and a week past by... we were beggining to lose hope. my dad was coming in from work one night and he saw my cat rolling something across the carpet in the living room. and to his suprise it was outr little ball python all balled up! thankfully non of our cats have front claws cause my mom loves her furniture more then cat claws :P

While in college I ended up moving back home with my parents for a while, and with me came my first Ball. One day he got loose, danged if I know how, and disappeared. He was only gone an afternoon...

...and we found him in the laundry basket, curled up in one of my t-shirts. I flatter myself to think he got scared, all alone in the Big Wide World, and sought out a familiar scent, one he associated with safety: me.

And smelly laundry is smelly. XD

Well, along time ago I had a young ball get loose. I decided not to tell my wife as I did not want to get a ear full. So the kids and I looked for it with no luck. A few days later my daughter (6 at the time) and I where laying on the couch watching some tv. My wife (who does not care for snakes) opened the door to the laundry room and took a couple steps in before turning on the lights and all of a sudden my daughter and I heard this wicked scream! I just looked at my daughter and said "well, mom must of found Baby"! Well, when she stepped into the dark room, the snake was in the floor and bit my wifes big toe!! Hench the scream!! She was not to happy. But my daughter thought it was pretty funny.

I found a bp in the insulation near the roof in the basement butthe weirdest find was when my carpet python escaped in the basement and he was found on the top of the garage door opener in the attached garage.
