Wondering about using storage drawers for tubs
So, I know the accepted standard for tubs are the 32 to 41 quart tubs, which average between 26" - 34" long and 16" - 18" wide that are 6" tall.
I personally don't care for tubs this shallow, call it a pet peeve if you want. So I've been searching high and low for something that gives me similar floor space and a little extra height. I did find some tubs, but at 12" tall, they mean making a very tall rack, which I'm not too keen on.
Today I found some sterilite closet drawers. They are 20" X 20" square and 9" tall.
So my question is, how many of you think this would be an acceptable size for a BP, say from 500 grams up? The floor space is almost identical to a 32 quart tub, it's just square instead of rectangle.

Are they the drawer units that just slide out? Picture?
If it is what I am thinking then it won't work. They can escape very easily from these.

You can just use the tubs from these to build a rack! Those racks they come with are not very secure!

Big DUH!! on my part.
Of course I'd be using just the tub itself in a proper rack, not the flimsy easily escaped frames that come with them. And yes, it's very similar to that link, just a little bit taller.

Thats fine if you are okay with having a taller rack :)
The size sounds just fine!
