Is my ball small for his age?
I know that age doesn't constitute growth, but I was surprised when the guy I got him from told me he was 2 years old. I just wanted to know if it was unusual.

    Here's some pictures:

    Comparison to my hand.

Comparison to my 1.5 year old corn snake. Is it dangerous to introduce them to each other?

Here he is eating an adult mouse. I'm wondering too, if I'm feeding him enough. After he's done, he looks like he's looking for more.

    Thanks for looking!

Well if he has been eating mice all his life ball pythons seem to grow at a slower rate. One more thing is what size of prey was the guy you got him from feeding him? Some people tend to underfeed snakes :(.Its really hard to say since each snake has a differant growth rate also.

people tend to underfeed as stated above and think that their BP can just eat 1 mouse every week and be fine so that might be the deal with yours. I have a year old BP and from the pics mine looks to be a bit larger, yours looks to be more the same size as my 8 month old BP.

The guy said he didn't feed him as often. I feed him an adult mouse once a week and he's been eating really strongly the past few weeks.

Should I be feeding him more than an adult mouse a week? I thought that was the standard, but he does appear to be looking for more when I do feed him.

Going by that last pic i bet he could take a small rat.If he refuses then its ok to give him 2 or 3 mice at a feeding if he will eat them.
